Happy Thanksgiving to Aphrodite's crew. We continue to follow your progress daily and it is always lovely to find an entry from you. With force 8 winds predicted here yet again (due to hit in 4 hours) and only 12 degrees on board, bobbing along closer to the equator sounds mighty good LOL. We know how frustrating light winds are though, so we hope the breeze picks up quickly for you.

Love from Angela and John XXXX

Hi to Jeri, Margi and Michael x 2,
Please don't stop your comments, even if there is nothing more exciting than menus to report LOL. I check your blog daily. Am I missing the position report somewhere though? There has not been a lat and long position given since Day 2.

We are in Valtou Bay (Igoumenitsa Creek)in the North Ionian still. The pressure dropped 25 mmHg yesterday in 24 hours, the biggest drop I have ever seen. Predicted winds were Force 8-9, but we were in a sheltered spot and did not register more than 38 knots when the instruments were on. In the Aegean there was a storm warning. It was only 11 degrees on board this morning. Cinnamon roll is on the menu for this morning too (I make it as one big one), if for no other reason than to heat the boat up!

Your account of travels and pictures brought back a flood of memories from our trip to Greece and Turkey in 1994. Seems nothing changes there (thank goodness). The day we visited St. John's Monastery, a hoard of church dignitaries were there, including the head of the Greek Orthodox Chruch. One of the bishops spied Deln (ever stunning in lavendar and her while hair) and asked to have his photo taken with her!
I do hope you will get to Ephesus!
Love,
Karon

If you stay in Marmaris and plans to go west, don't forget to drop your anchor at Sailors Paradise {36°41'53.00"N 28° 0'30.15"E } for at least 1day/night....
And of course take a meal of fresh fish!
It's wonderful and the name is, what it is! :-)

Already danced the Sirtaki?

Ahoy Michael & Jeri,
Before we headed to Malta, we have made a trip around Sicily and their volcano islands during 4 weeks. Now we are moored at Monastir (TUN.) to pick up our family of the airport. Next week we'll back at PYH and "Lady Jane" will be lifted at Rodriquez. It will be painted (antifouling) and because of changing the (maxprop) screw.
It's so nice of you to mail us and a great pleasure to meet you. It's a pity that we only had a short time to talk but we hope that we meet up again somewhere on the seas or land in the future.
We will look out for SV"Aphrodite" and, in the meantime, have some safe sailing and good winds!
A big hug for my mate Brisa. Wow she's growing well on the pictures.

PS don't forget to watch the movie *Lara Croft* ;-)
